The Swedish startup Cyber Defencely aims to help organizations meet threats and regulatory requirements at the pace now required. This fall, an AI tool for evaluating organizations’ information security will be launched. With AI-supported expert teams, efficient processes, and a clear delivery model, fast and measurable results are then offered. With the support of, among others, Emanuel Lipschütz (Conscia, Netsafe, Insurely) and Daniel Reinholdsson (formerly with the Swedish Customs, SR, FRA, and FOI), Cyber Defencely is aiming to reach SEK 200 million in revenue by 2030.
At a time when cybersecurity has become a business-critical issue, everything from small companies to essential national services such as BankID and SVT is being targeted. Meanwhile, tens of thousands of Swedish organizations in both the public and private sectors must prepare for the implementation of the Swedish Cybersecurity Act (NIS2), expected to take effect in January 2026.
– Today’s cyber threats and regulatory demands require a new approach. With expert teams, efficient processes, and digital tools, we create business-driven security practices that truly work — pragmatic, measurable, and aligned with organizational goals and needs. With this approach, our goal is to reach SEK 200 million in revenue by 2030, says Daniel Reinholdsson, CEO of Cyber Defencely.
Cyber Defencely’s strength lies in its delivery model, where experienced, cross-functional teams — supported by AI — can quickly drive change within client organizations, with clear accountability, proven methodologies, and a focus on measurable results rather than billable hours. The company is currently developing an AI tool that enables organizations to evaluate their information security. The launch is planned for this autumn, and a beta testing program is now open via cyberdefencely.com.
– As threat actors use AI to intensify their attacks, we as defenders must respond with equal force. It’s the combination of AI and top human expertise that enables us not only to comply with laws and regulations, but to build true resilience. That’s why we’re launching an entirely new kind of offering — we sell capability, not hours, says Emanuel Lipschütz, Chairman of the Board at Cyber Defencely.
Behind Cyber Defencely are, among others, cybersecurity expert and serial entrepreneur Emanuel Lipschütz, and cybersecurity expert Daniel Reinholdsson.
