AI security company Cyber Defencely recruits Patrick Eidenstam, former information security specialist at the Swedish Enforcement Authority and the Swedish Customs.
This autumn, the company will launch an AI-powered tool designed to assess organizations’ information security ahead of the new Cybersecurity Act coming into force in January. With AI-supported expert teams, efficient processes, and a clear delivery model, Cyber Defencely provides fast and measurable results. The company aims to reach a turnover of SEK 200 million by 2030.
– At Cyber Defencely, we offer next-generation information security through team-based deliveries, quality-assured processes, and AI-supported tools. Patrick Eidenstam has the experience and ability to work effectively with these tools like few others, and we are delighted to welcome him on board, says Daniel Reinholdsson, CEO of Cyber Defencely.
Patrick Eidenstam holds a degree in Information Systems with a focus on information security and has over 15 years of experience in the field. He has worked as a specialist in information security at organizations including the City of Stockholm, Region Stockholm, the Swedish Customs, Swedish Radio, and the Swedish Enforcement Authority. According to Patrick, information security is more important than ever:
– The threats and regulatory requirements are constantly increasing, but technology alone is not enough to ensure cybersecurity — you have to work with people and processes, motivate and educate. This is where cross-functional teams and experience make the difference — to understand and engage the entire organization. Information security, and its internal ambassadors, should be seen as enablers, not obstacles, says Patrick Eidenstam, newly appointed Senior Information Security Specialist at Cyber Defencely, and continues:
– Policy documents that take years to produce and process inventories that never end — that no longer works. When we work as full teams at Cyber Defencely, we can use modern tools for maturity assessment and information flow analysis to focus on the right areas, processes, and people — and achieve lasting results.
Cyber Defencely’s strength lies in its delivery model, where experienced, cross-functional teams — supported by AI — can quickly drive change within client organizations, with clear accountability, proven methodologies, and a focus on measurable results rather than billable hours. The company is currently developing an AI tool that enables organizations to evaluate their information security. The launch is planned for this autumn, and a beta testing program is now open via cyberdefencely.com.
Behind Cyber Defencely are, among others, cybersecurity expert and serial entrepreneur Emanuel Lipschütz, and cybersecurity expert Daniel Reinholdsson.
