Cyber Defencely appoints Michael Hjorth as a member of the board. Michael has a background as an Oscar-nominated producer and bestselling author, and today he runs an AI lab. His experience in entrepreneurship, creative processes, and board work brings unique strategic expertise to Cyber Defencely. The company is launching an AI tool for assessing organizations’ information security ahead of the new cybersecurity law coming into effect in January. With uniquely AI-supported expert teams, efficient processes, and a clear delivery model, Cyber Defencely offers fast and measurable results.
– I believe in Cyber Defencely’s approach of putting experts at the center and using AI as an amplifier, not a replacement. In cybersecurity, you can’t automate away human judgment – you have to enhance it with the power of AI. Cyber Defencely’s combination of deep expertise and AI tools represents exactly the kind of augmented security that I am convinced is the future, says Michael Hjorth, newly appointed board member at Cyber Defencely.
Michael Hjorth is a film producer and author, and was a co-founder of the production company Tre Vänner. He has board experience from several tech companies, including serving as Chairman of the Board at Starbreeze. Today, he runs Minngle.ai – an AI lab focused on how we can practically use new AI tools to create real value.
Companies are now exposed to threats that they must continuously and rapidly detect, measure, and manage in order to remain operational, secure, and compliant. Today’s manual projects are simply not sufficient — entire teams and processes supported by modern tools are required. Michael Hjorth contributes both knowledge and inspiration for our AI tools, as well as experience from fast-growing companies. His perspective on keeping humans at the center while AI amplifies their capabilities is exactly what the security industry needs. We are very pleased to welcome him to the board, says Emanuel Lipschütz, Chairman of the Board at Cyber Defencely.
Cyber Defencely’s strength lies in its delivery model, where experienced, cross-functional teams — supported by AI — can quickly drive change within client organizations, with clear accountability, proven methodologies, and a focus on measurable results rather than billable hours. The company is currently developing an AI tool that enables organizations to evaluate their information security. The launch is planned for this autumn, and a beta testing program is now open via cyberdefencely.com.
Behind Cyber Defencely are, among others, cybersecurity expert and serial entrepreneur Emanuel Lipschütz (Netsafe, Conscia) and cybersecurity expert Daniel Reinholdsson (formerly of the Swedish Customs, Swedish Radio, the National Defence Radio Establishment, and the Swedish Defence Research Agency).
