Cyber Defencely is developing a continuity management tool to help tens of thousands of Swedish organizations meet the requirements of the Cybersecurity Act, which enters into force on 15 January 2026. The tool, developed with support from MCF (MSB) and NCC-SE, will identify critical processes and dependencies and create continuity plans for them. The continuity tool can be integrated with Cyber Defencely’s popular and free service CyberResilient, which assesses organizations’ needs under the new legislation. The tool will be launched later this year.

Sweden’s implementation of the EU NIS2 Directive, the Cybersecurity Act, is now entering into force, introducing higher requirements for public and private organizations across 18 sectors. One of the requirements is effective continuity management, ensuring that operations can be maintained at a tolerable level regardless of disruptions. With support from MSB, Cyber Defencely launched in the autumn the popular and free online service CyberResilient, which provides an assessment of an organization’s security posture as well as recommended actions to meet the requirements of the new law.

– CyberResilient’s ability to quickly give us an overall picture and prioritized recommendations is highly appreciated and saves us both time and money. We can now allocate resources where they truly make a difference, says Charlott Brask, Process & Quality Manager at the user company Implema.

Now, Cyber Defencely’s sister company Internetworking has received support from MSB (now the Swedish Agency for Civil Defence, MCF) to develop a continuity management tool. The tool can be integrated with CyberResilient and provides users with a workflow to identify critical processes and dependencies, as well as to create and improve continuity plans to secure their operations. The system includes AI support and scenario-based exercises in an intuitive interface, and is hosted in a Swedish cloud environment or on the customer’s premises.

– If continuity plans exist today, they are most often created in Excel or Word and quickly become outdated. We are building an intelligent system that always maintains an up-to-date view of your assets, critical processes, and complex dependencies, along with workflows for responsible parties that ensure continuity in your processes becomes a reality—not just a plan, says Emanuel Lipschütz, Chairman of the Board at Cyber Defencely.

– The tools for continuity management and security assessment work together. With guidance from our experts and the AI support built into the system, working with security becomes both more engaging and more efficient—making it possible to actually deliver the secure continuity and regulatory compliance that is now required, says Daniel Reinholdsson, CEO of Cyber Defencely.
