AI security company Cyber Defencely recruits Gisela Lejonqvist, former security specialist at Saab and the Swedish Enforcement Authority, as consultant and Marketing Director. This autumn, the company will launch an AI-powered tool designed to assess organizations’ information security ahead of the new Cybersecurity Act coming into force in January. With AI-supported expert teams, efficient processes, and a clear delivery model, Cyber Defencely provides fast and measurable results. The company aims to reach a turnover of SEK 200 million by 2030.

– Gisela has extensive and versatile experience from highly security-sensitive operations in both the private and public sectors. With her broad expertise, Gisela is a perfect addition to Cyber Defencely’s growth journey, and we are delighted to welcome her on board, says Cyber Defencely’s CEO, Daniel Reinholdsson.

Gisela Lejonqvist holds a degree in Business and Economics and has previously worked in marketing at Saab before transitioning into the field of information security. She holds a Master’s degree in the subject, is a certified CISSP, and has worked as an information security specialist at organizations including Västervik Miljö & Energi, the Swedish Enforcement Authority, and most recently at Saab.

– Given the current threat landscape and the regulatory bombardment across EU operations, information security has never been more critical. The traditional solutions — IT systems and ‘consultant-in-a-box’ providers — are no longer sufficient. With its structured approach, team-based delivery model, quality-assured processes, and AI-driven system support, Cyber Defencely has tremendous potential, says Gisela Lejonqvist, newly appointed Marketing Director and Information Security Specialist at Cyber Defencely.

Cyber Defencely’s strength lies in its delivery model, where experienced, cross-functional teams — supported by AI — can quickly drive change within client organizations, with clear accountability, proven methodologies, and a focus on measurable results rather than billable hours. The company is currently developing an AI tool that enables organizations to evaluate their information security. The launch is planned for this autumn, and a beta testing program is now open via cyberdefencely.com.

Behind Cyber Defencely are, among others, cybersecurity expert and serial entrepreneur Emanuel Lipschütz, and cybersecurity expert Daniel Reinholdsson.
